Victor and crashies leave OpTic Gaming
American esportsmen Victor and crashies have announced their departure from the OpTic Gaming team. As expected, after not being included in the list of partners, the best team in North America will fall into separate components.
Me and the crashies are free agents with no limits ahead of 2023. Contact our agency for offers. Thanks to the organization, hastr0 and H3CZ for the past two years. I can’t express how grateful I am for the opportunity to express myself on the international stage,” Victor wrote.
Victor and crashies have been part of OpTic Gaming (formerly Team Envy) for the past two years. During this time, American players became the winners of VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: North America Stage 1 Challengers 2 and VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 1 Masters - Reykjavík, and also got into the TOP 3 at the end of VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Stage 1 Challengers, VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers, VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen and VALORANT Champions 2022.
At the same time, it is likely that other players of the OpTic Gaming roster, who are no longer kept in the club, will follow their example. It remains to be seen what steps an organization will take, which will certainly want to receive financial benefits from the sale of the strongest squad in its region.
It is not clear why Riot Games left out OpTic Gaming. But given the selection criteria presented, there are more popular organizations in the region that will serve to create a coherent ecosystem in the future.
