SicK spoke about his mental problems
SicK, a current VALORANT Sentinels player, spoke about his mental health issues he's been dealing with in recent months. At the same time, the 23-year-old American e-sportsman emphasized that he had already managed to work on himself and overcame difficulties.
I've been struggling with my mental health for the past month or so. But now I feel much better, thanks to everyone for the support. I hope to get back to competitive play soon.
SicK has been with the Sentinels since April 2020. During this time, the 23-year-old American esportsman helped the team win many championships, including the JBL Quantum Cup, VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Challengers 1, VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Masters, VCT 2021: North America Stage 2 Challengers Finals, VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík, VCT 2021: North America Stage 3 Challengers 1 and VCT 2021: North America Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs.
However, at the last for the team VCT 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers, the player missed a good half of the group stage, as it was said in the announcement, due to family difficulties. As a result, the North American team did not get a single victory in the championship and took the last place, earning $6,000.
The next championship for the Sentinels will be the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Last Chance Qualifier, which will take place in August. The team will compete for one ticket to VALORANT Champions 2022.
