PureR left Gen.G Esports
North American esports organization Gen.G Esports has announced changes to their VALORANT roster, parting ways with PureR. Recall that the 22-year-old American player joined the team just two months ago.
Despite the short time spent in Gen.G Esports, things definitely didn't go the way we planned in qualifying for VCT 2022: NA Stage 2 Challengers. We never managed to show what we are capable of until it was too late. It's really sad that we didn't have more time and tournaments together as the team felt really strong. I learned a lot and developed myself as a player along with them.
In the past few weeks, I have decided to take a break for myself to prepare myself to work as hard as possible. I'll probably start doing daily streams and see where it goes. With all that said, I am now a free agent looking for any opportunity. I am ready to further expand the variety of my roles and take on any challenges that may arise. I am ready to work with any team that will give me a chance to prove myself again.
PureR appeared on the professional scene in the summer of 2020. However, the 22-year-old American gained fame during his performances for XSET, with which he won the NSG x Complexity Invitational, and also took second place in the VCT 2021: North America Stage 2 Challengers 1 and VCT 2021: North America Stage 3 Challengers 1.
However, PureR faced difficulties in the new season, as by joining Gen.G Esports, the esportsman did not help the team qualify for VCT 2022: NA Stage 2 Challengers.
The nearest championship for the North American team will be MEL Premiership S3, which will start on June 9th. By this time, the club must submit the name of its fifth player.
From now on, the Gen.G Esports roster for VALORANT is as follows:
- Shawn.
- NaturE.
- rhyme.
- jcStani.
- Elmapuddy (head coach).
- Traumist (assistant coach).
