Alter Ego Celeste wins VCT 2022: Game Changers APAC Open 4
The VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Game Changers APAC Open 4 has come to an end. The championship, which ran online from May 28 to June 5, saw sixteen women's teams from the APAC region battle it out for a $5,000 prize pool as well as ranking points. The winner of the tournament was Alter Ego Celeste, which in the finals was stronger than Team SMG with a score of 3:2 (Bind - 13:3; Split - 7:13; Breeze - 7:13; Fracture - 13:5; Haven - 13: 9).
As part of the championship, the Indonesian team went through a number of serious opponents, including Aresta (2:0), Bren Esports Victress (2:1) and Nigma Galaxy Female (2:0), thus making it to the grand final.
In the final match of the Alter Ego competition, Celeste started right off the bat, closing the Bind card in her favor. However, on Split and Breeze, the initiative passed into the hands of the opponent, who managed to take the lead in the series. Still, Alter Ego Celeste managed to close the two remaining maps to leave Team SMG with a nose (3:2), while earning $1,500 and 20 points.
It should be noted that after this victory, the Indonesian team established itself as the leader of the regional table, gaining 80 points out of 80 possible.

- 5th-6th place: Thirsts Red and Sovereign — $300 + 13 points.
- 7th-8th place: Orangutan Female and Aresta — $150 + 12 points.
- 9th-16th place: GGP eSports, BIG SCYTHE, FUMA Ladies, Hero Zero KDA, Asteria, ZOL Meraki, ALK Amethyst and Fear Eater Sierra — 8 points.
