vakk and MONSTEERR complete Acend line-up
European esports organization ACEND has completed the VALORANT roster by signing vakk and MONSTEERR. Both esportsmen are meant to replace BONECOLD and Kiles, who have gone back to Team Vitality and Giants, respectively.
vakk spent the last year with Team Vitality. Together with the team, the 21-year-old Lithuanian esportsman became the winner of the VALORANT Open Tour: France - Fall Qualifier and VALORANT Open Tour: France Finals, and also made it to the top three at epic.WAN 32, VCT 2021: Europe Stage 2 Challengers 2 and VALORANT Open Tour: France - Spring Qualifier.
In turn, MONSTEERR spent the last four months with the Giants, with whom he managed to reach the semi-finals of VRL 2022 Spain: Rising Stage 1. However, the 17-year-old Czech has experience playing for Team Heretics, where he managed to play on the European TIER-1 stage.
Interestingly, both newcomers joined Acend as free agents, thereby costing the new club free. At the same time, BONECOLD and Kiles were pursued in the opposite direction, which only adds to the intrigue in the behind-the-scenes negotiations between the parties involved.
The next tournament for Acend will be VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers, which will be held online from May 13 to June 26.
From now on, the VALORANT Acend roster is as follows:
- cNed.
- starxo.
- zeek.
- vakk.
- MONSTEERR.
- Nbs (head coach).
- Milan (assistant coach).
