RoY steps down as Ninjas in Pajamas coach

The Swedish esports organization Ninjas in Pajamas announced the parting with RoY, who was the coach of the VALORANT team. Recall that the Brazilian specialist has led the team since January 2022.

The day has come to say goodbye to our coach RoY, who was with us during the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Brazil Stage 1 Challengers. Thank you for your dedication and for all the effort you put into representing our colors.

RoY took over Ninjas in Pajamas at the start of the new season when the Swedish club finally decided to focus on the Brazilian scene. In four months, the specialist helped the team take second place in the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Brazil Stage 1 Challengers.

However, already in March, RoY retired, giving way to FLUYR. Already with a new coach, Ninjas in Pajamas managed to qualify for VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 1 Masters - Reykjavík, where she took 9th-10th place, failing to get into the playoffs.

Note that these are not the first changes in the team line-up, since in the middle of the week Ninjas in Pajamas parted ways with FLUYR and bnj. At the same time, the nearest tournament for the Brazilian team will be VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Brazil Stage 2 Challengers, which will be held online from May 14 to June 26.

The current VALORANT roster of Ninjas in Pajamas is as follows:

  • xand.
  • Jonn.
  • bezn1.
  • Cauanzin.
