gMd joins TSM roster
North American esports organization TSM has completed the VALORANT roster by signing a contract with gMd. The 21-year-old Canadian player has already made his debut for the team, playing in the recent NSG: Summer Championship - Open 1.
gMd was a founding member of the original Gen.G Esports roster, joining the team in the spring of 2020. For almost two years, the 21-year-old Canadian esportsman helped the team win the T1 x Nerd Street Gamers Invitational, Pittsburgh Knights Tournament Series, Pulse Invitational and Pittsburgh Knights Before Christmas, as well as get into the top three at the Pittsburgh Knights Invitational Gauntlet Series, JBL Quantum Cup and VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Masters.
The last tournament for gMd as part of Gen.G Esports was the Proving Grounds $20k - Spring 2022, following which the team took second place, losing in the grand final to FaZe Clan (0:2). After that, the Canadian left the team, becoming a free agent.
Most recently, gMd took part in the NSG: Summer Championship - Open 1, where together with TSM he took 9th-16th place. In addition, the Canadian player helped the team take second place at the Knights Gauntlet Circuit Monthly 2022: April.
