Ethan joined NRG
North American esports organization NRG has announced changes to its VALORANT starting roster by signing Ethan. Former 100 Thieves player replaced in ANDROID, who moved to inactive.
Ethan appeared on the scene at the beginning of last year, having moved from the CS:GO discipline. For a year with 100 Thieves, the American became the winner of VCT 2021: North America Stage 2 Challengers 1, and also made it to the top three at VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Challengers 3, VCT 2021: North America Stage 3 Challengers 1, VCT 2021: North America Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs, VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin and Knights Arena Monthly Gauntlet 2022: February. However, after a poor start to the new season, the 22-year-old left the team's starting XI and started looking for a future club.
In turn, ANDROID has been playing for NRG since February of last year. During this time, the 27-year-old Canadian player helped the team get into the top three at VCT 2021: North America Stage 2 Challengers 2, Nerd Street Gamers: Summer Championship, Community Gaming Valorant Elite Showdown and Knights Arena Valorampage.
The next tournament for the updated NRG roster will be the open qualifiers for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers, which will take place at the end of April.
From now on, the NRG roster for VALORANT is as follows:
- s0m.
- eeiu.
- tex.
- hazed.
- Ethan.
- JoshRT (head coach).
