DAMWON Gaming's VALORANT Roster Has Been Changed
South Korean esports organization DAMWON Gaming has announced changes to its VALORANT roster, parting ways with Eugene, Jeong Hi, Hyeoni and iNTRO, as well as coach Eraser. It is reported that their contracts have come to an end, while the club itself did not renew the agreements.
DWG KIA announces that contracts with Eugene, Jeong Hi, Hyeoni and iNTRO have expired. DWG KIA will remember the precious time we spent together to make our dream come true. In addition, the contract with Eraser has expired. We sincerely appreciate his dedication to the DWG KIA team and wish him all the best for the future.
Most of the players who left joined the team at the beginning of last year. In turn, Hyeoni and Eraser joined DAMWON Gaming at the start of the new season. Together, the players helped the team get into the top three at VCT 2021: Korea Stage 2 Challengers, VCT 2021: Korea Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs and VCT 2021: APAC Last Chance Qualifier.
The last tournament for DAMWON Gaming was VCT 2022: Korea Stage 1 Challengers, following which the team took fourth place and failed to qualify for the Masters in Iceland.
