Extreme became a free agent
The Bulgarian e-sportsman revealed on Twitter that he is no longer part of the Movistar Riders club. Where he will continue his career is currently unknown. The Bulgarian wrote a detailed post on Twitlonger about the reason for the termination of the contract between him and the club.
Extreme said that he was open to any proposals in which he could act as a duelist or agents such as Chamber and Sage.
He wrote the following on his Twitlonger:
I am now free agent and open to all offers for duelist/chamber/sage role, feel free to DM me. (I can fill too, but I am most comfortable on those)
My contract with Movistar Riders was mutually terminated, because they are looking to rebuild for next season. No bad feelings towards anyone, I loved my time in the team and I'm forever grateful to Rachel for giving me the opportunity! This is the first person who believed in me, the second one being Lucas, who is the best coach I could have asked for. I'm forever grateful to both of them and to everyone in the team, who helped me become the player I am now. I am looking forward to showing what I can do and keep on improving as a player inside the game and a person outside of it.
Thank you to all the fans that are supporting me since I've joined Movistar Riders and I hope to see you all soon again. <3
Khristiyan 'Extreme' Trifonov joined Movistar Riders on January 5th and left the organization on January 10th. For 2 months of his stay, he and his teammates took 7th place in VRL 2022 Spain: Rising Stage 1 and placed 3-4 in VRL 2022 Spain: Rising Stage Demotion.
With the departure of Extreme, the Movistar Riders roster has three esports players + a replacement player left. The starting roster includes Rene 'Rias' Pitrun, Alejandro 'RAYZZ' Montaner Roig and Victor 'KPZET' Stinsgaard. Yuen 'Yuen' Xuan is on the team as a substitute. If Extreme turns out to be right, then Movistar Riders could be followed by yet another change. The team lacks two main players. Due to the fact that the team took 3rd-4th place within VRL 2022 Spain: Rising Stage Demotion, Movistar Riders remained one step away from entering VRL Spain: Rising Stage 2, which means they have no upcoming matches in the Valorant league. The team will train and complete its roster in shooter discipline from Riot Games.
Current line-up of Movistar Riders
- René 'Rias' Pitrun
- Alejandro 'RAYZZ' Montaner Roig
- Victor 'KPZET' Stinsgaard
