Pioneers left without VALORANT roster
The North American esports organization Pioneers was left without an active roster for the VALORANT discipline. The players and coaching staff announced the end of the contract with the club and became free agents.
The first to announce his departure from the Pioneers was fRoD, who had led the team since last August. Together with him, Wedid, thief, jmoh and Critical, who were part of the team for various periods of time, announced their fate.
Over the past four months, the North American team has not been able to achieve great success, remembered for winning the Community Gaming Valorant Elite Showdown, as well as getting into the top three at the Knights Arena Monthly Gauntlet - October, NSG: Winter Championship - Open 9 and NSG: Winter Championship - Open 10.
In addition, the Pioneers failed to qualify for the 2022 VCT: NA Stage 1 Challengers, failing both qualifiers. The last championship for the team's roster was the NSG: Winter Championship, following which Pioneers took 9th-12th place.
It is noted that the Pioneers are considering leaving the discipline. However, the organization has not yet issued an official statement regarding this situation.
Pioneers' latest VALORANT roster is as follows:
- jcStani.
- thief.
- Wedid.
- HUYNH.
