Don't miss the start of VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Korea Stage 1 Challengers
In a few hours, the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Korea Stage 1 Challengers, the first major tournament of the new season for teams from the Republic of Korea, will start. The top eight teams at the end of the closed qualifier will compete for a prize pool of $87,649, as well as a ticket to the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Masters Stage 1. VALORANT Champions Tour 2022 Format: Korea Stage 1 Challengers
The championship will be held in two stages:
- Group stage: February 23 - March 13.
- Playoffs: March 17-27.
The group stage of the championship will be held in a round-robin format. Each team will play seven matches in the BO3 format, which will form the playoff bracket.
Teams that take 1st and 2nd places according to the results of the group stage are pursued to the second round of the upper bracket. At the same time, the teams that took places from 3rd to 6th will recover to the first round of the upper bracket. The bottom two teams from the group stage will leave the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Korea Stage 1 Challengers.
Next, the teams will determine the winner of the championship in a classic double elimination bracket. All playoff matches, with the exception of the lower bracket final and the grand final, will be played in BO3 format. At the same time, the decisive matches of the championship will be held in the BO5 format.

At the same time, the teams DRX, DAMWON Gaming, Maru Gaming and World Game Star went through this stage of the competition undefeated, rightfully receiving the top seed for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Korea Stage 1 Challengers group stage.

In addition, the championship provides for the best player award - the MVP of the tournament will receive an additional prize of $4,218.
VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Korea Stage 1 Challengers will take place from February 23 to March 27 in the Republic of Korea.
