Rise intends to sell the VALORANT roster
According to insider George Geddes, the North American esports organization Rise intends to sell the VALORANT roster. The club's management is currently negotiating with an unnamed organization to sell the team. The deal is expected to be confirmed before the start of the new VCT season.
The original line-up of Rise was born at the beginning of last year. During the season, the team has undergone many changes, taking the final form only in the summer. Over the past six months, the team has made great progress, winning the NSG: Summer Championship - Open 4 and Knights Monthly Gauntlet - May, taking second place in the NSG: Summer Championship - Monthly May and VCT 2021: North America Last Chance Qualifier, as well as getting into the TOP -4 at VCT 2021: North America Stage 3 Challengers 2.
It is reported that Rise was approached by the FaZe Clan organization, which intended to buy out four players. However, Rise refused the offer, as the line-up intends to continue playing together.
There is not much time left for Rise to announce the team's transfer as the new VCT season in North America begins on January 27th.
Rise's current roster is as follows:
- neptune.
- poised.
- Shanks.
- Derrek.
- supamen.
- anger (coach).
