nitr0 left 100 Thieves
North American esports organization 100 Thieves has announced a roster change in VALORANT that will bid farewell to nitr0. As you know, the 26-year-old American esportsman will return to CS: GO by joining Team Liquid. In turn, the organization thanked the captain for his contribution to the development of the team and wished him success in his new endeavors.
nitr0 moved from CS: GO to VALORANT last summer, immediately joining 100 Thieves. For sixteen months as a member of the team, the 26-year-old American player won First Strike North America and VCT 2021: North America Stage 2 Challengers 1, and also got into the TOP 4 at the JBL Quantum Cup, VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Challengers 3, VCT 2021: North America Stage 3 Challengers 1, VCT 2021: North America Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs, VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin and VCT 2021: North America Last Chance Qualifier.
However, in recent months, there have been active rumors about the player's possible return to CS: GO. At the same time, nitr0 himself was actively training at FACEIT, while Team Liquid actually officially announced the future changes and restructuring of the roster around EliGE and NAF.
As a reminder, this is far from the first change in the 100 Thieves lineup. Steel, dicey and b0i, as well as coach FrosT, have previously left the team.
The current roster of 100 Thieves is as follows:
- Hiko.
- Asuna.
- Ethan.
- seven (substitute).
