Astell and Seoldam leave Northeption
Japanese esports organization Northeption has announced changes to its VALORANT roster, resulting in the departure of Astell and Seoldam. South Korean players have played for the team since February 2021.
Astell and Seoldam were the founders of the original Northeption roster, which was born in early 2021. Over the season, the players managed to lead the Japanese team to victory at VCT 2021: Japan Stage 2 Challengers 1. The team's best results came at the end of summer, when Northeption reached the semi-finals of VCT 2021: Japan Stage 3 Challengers 1, and also took third place in the VCT 2021: Japan Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs.
However, at the last in the VCT 2021 season: APAC Last Chance Qualifier, the team failed to win a place at VALORANT Champions 2021, losing in the FULL SENSE grand final (2: 3).
At the same time, there have been changes in the structure of the team in recent months. Specifically, Northeption has announced the appointment of 4NT4 and Kamaneko as Squad Manager.
