Officially: 100 Thieves said goodbye to FrosT
North American organization 100 Thieves has issued an official statement saying goodbye to FrosT. Recall that the American specialist has led the team since January 2021.
“Today we made the decision to part ways with our coach FrosT. His leadership and tireless dedication to our team and players over the past year has been tremendously appreciated. We wish Hector all the best in his future endeavors,” the organization wrote in a press release.
FrosT joined 100 Thieves back in October 2020 as a team analyst. However, at the beginning of the new season, an American specialist took over the team. Under his leadership, the team won VCT 2021: North America Stage 2 Challengers 1, took second place in VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Challengers 3 and VCT 2021: North America Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs, and also got into TOP-4 at VCT 2021: North America Stage 3 Challengers 1 and VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin.
At the same time, 100 Thieves failed in VCT 2021: North America Last Chance Qualifier, finishing only third after an unexpected defeat to Cloud9 (1: 2). Thus, the season ended for the team, as 100 Thieves were left out of the VALORANT Champions 2021.
The current roster of 100 Thieves is as follows:
- Hiko.
- Asuna.
- Ethan.
- b0i.
- nitr0.
- seven (spare).
