LBP steps down as Renegades coach
The North American esports organization Renegades has announced the departure of LBP as the head coach of the Rocket League roster. The information was also confirmed by a 25-year-old Australian specialist who worked with the team for a year and a half.
Today we part ways and say thank you to Lachlan Parker, our performance coach and our Rocket League coach. LBP has always been a great resource for all of our players and we know, whatever the future holds, he will do great things! Once a renegade, a renegade forever.
LBP took over Renegades last March. During this time, the 25-year-old Australian specialist helped the team win many regional tournaments, including:
- RLCS Season X - ESL Oceanic Championship: Spring Regional Event 2
- RLCS 2021-22 - Fall: OCE Regional Event 1
- RLCS 2021-22 - Winter: OCE Regional Event 2
- superhero spectacle
In addition, under his leadership, the team took part in the RLCS Season X - Spring: Oceanic Major (3rd place), Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - Fall Split Major (9-11th place), Rocket League Championship Series 2021- 22 - Winter Split Major (13-15th place) and Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - World Championship (13-16th place).
After careful consideration, I have decided to step down as head performance coach and coach of the Renegades Rocket League roster. I wouldn't be the person I am today without the experience and knowledge I've gained over the past 18 months. I have had the pleasure of entering esports as a sports and exercise specialist and athlete mental health consultant knowing that I have left a positive mark on all the players, coaches and staff I have encountered and worked with. I really enjoyed working with all the current and previous Renegades players in Rocket League, Apex Legends, VALORANT and CS:GO.
LBP himself has expressed a desire to stay in esports and pursue a career in other regions.
Note that this is not the first change in the composition of the Australian team, which lost CJCJ after the end of the World Championship. Then the 24-year-old Australian announced his retirement.
From now on, the Renegades Rocket League roster is as follows:
- Kamii
- Fever
