Rocket League Season 23 Launches June 10 With FIFA World Cup 2026-Themed Content

Rocket League Season 23 is set to begin on June 10, introducing a wide range of new content, gameplay features, and a special collaboration centered around the FIFA World Cup 2026™.

FIFA World Cup 2026 Event Takes Center Stage

One of the biggest additions arriving with the new season is a limited-time event themed around the upcoming FIFA World Cup. Players will be able to choose a country to represent and compete on a global leaderboard throughout the event.

Participants who select a nation before July 13 will receive a free country-themed Octane decal and player title. Once the event concludes, all players will receive a World Cup-themed title, while those who represented the winning nation will earn exclusive gold variants of the rewards.

The event will also feature a series of challenges offering additional cosmetic items, including a goal explosion, boost, and universal decal. Completing a specific number of event challenges will unlock the Hyundai Ioniq 6 vehicle.

New Arena: United Futura

Season 23 introduces United Futura, a brand-new arena variant designed specifically for the season. The futuristic stadium will serve as one of the main battlegrounds for matches throughout the update.

Demo Spawn Control and Gameplay Improvements

A notable gameplay feature arriving in Season 23 is Demo Spawn Control, allowing players to choose which side of the field they respawn on after being demolished.

Several quality-of-life improvements are also being added, including:

• Local starting boost customization
• Ball and car speed graphs
• Streamer Anonymizer
• Hitbox visualization tools
• Automatic goal replay skipping
• Enhanced friend status information displaying score and remaining match time

Rocket Pass Premium Rewards

The Season 23 Rocket Pass Premium will introduce two new vehicles:

• Ryza Trophy (Octane hitbox), available immediately upon unlocking the pass
• Ryza T60 (Breakout hitbox), available through higher progression tiers

The pass will also include additional cosmetic content such as boosts, trails, antennas, and player anthems.

Community and Creator Initiatives

Season 23 will spotlight content creator Mizu, with players able to claim a free themed player title during a limited-time login event.

The season will also include special in-game rewards tied to matches involving popular creator Jynxzi. Depending on the outcome of matches played alongside or against him, players may unlock exclusive cosmetic items.

In addition, Rocket League content creators on Twitch and YouTube will distribute promotional codes throughout the season. Redeeming these codes can grant players item drops ranging from Sports-tier rewards to Black Market items.
