Guild Esports intends to disband Rocket League roster
According to the Shiftrle.gg portal, the British esports organization Guild Esports intends to disband the Rocket League roster. Despite a number of successful performances, the club does not plan to renew the contracts with its players, who began to look for options to continue the carter.
Guild Esports introduced the updated roster at the beginning of this year. Later, the organization made some adjustments to the composition. As a result, the Spanish-British team managed to win the qualifiers for Gamers Without Borders 2022: Europe, as well as take second place at Gamers8 2022.
As for the competitive component, the team could not demonstrate consistency in the results, having scored in the TOP-8 at RLCS 2021-22 - Winter: EU Regional Event 2 - Premier Cup, RLCS 2021-22 - Winter: EU Regional Event 3 - Copa de Rocket League and RLCS 2021-22 - Spring: EU Regional Event 2 - Tour de Rocket League.
As a result, the team was left out of the Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - World Championship, which will officially close the competitive season.
It is reported that crr is already exploring possibilities for the next season, with the support of AtomiK and MaRc_By_8, who also decided to move on after the breakup of Luminosity Gaming. Even though neither of these players have played together at a professional level before, the team will be a strong national assembly. If the project is completed, MaRc_By_8 will play in the Spanish squad for the first time since 2019.
The latest Guild Esports Rocket League roster is as follows:
- Deevo
- crr
- DORITO # @
- Markydooda (coach)
