Rix_Ronday steps down as Williams Resolve coach
Rix_Ronday has announced his resignation as coach of Williams Resolve. Recall that the 22-year-old Dutch specialist led the team since September last year.
Hi all. I started playing Rocket League around 2017. Throughout my career, I have almost always been the captain of the team, who decided what we had to change in order to win certain series. I thought that after I retired from the game it would be a great idea to start coaching, since I already kind of did this when I was a player myself.
The past year of coaching has shown me that I am capable of helping players improve both in and out of the game. I helped people make decisions, deal with nerves, learn to be a good team in general, and more. However, a lot of negative things happened as well, I won't go into details, but what happened made me think that maybe I shouldn't train anymore in the future. As for my future, I would like to move into a leadership role with a team from Rocket League, or I could become a second coach myself. It's just not possible for me to be at every match as I'll be learning too, so that might be the solution.
At the moment I'm still under contract with Williams Resolve, but the organization has allowed me to look for new opportunities. So for those who are interested in me being a second coach or manager, or maybe even a coach who cannot attend all the events, be sure to contact me.
Assuming this could be the end of my Rocket League esports adventure, I'd like to thank all the people who have supported me and who have always been by my side. Finally, I want to thank everyone who took the time to read this.
Rix_Ronday headed Williams Resolve last fall. During this time, the 22-year-old Dutch specialist made it to the quarterfinals of the RLCS 2021-22 - Fall: EU Regional Event 1 - European Open. In addition, the organization recently announced a reshuffling of its roster, allowing all players to look for options to continue their careers.
