Until the end of September, the price of certain PlayStation 5 bundles has been reduced by $50

Sony has reduced the price of the PlayStation 5 Modern Warfare 2 bundle from $539.99 to $489.99, with the offer available online at PlayStation Direct until September 30.

The same bundle is also available at retailers such as Best Buy and Walmart, with Walmart offering it for $489.

Additionally, there is a $50 discount on the PS5 bundle with the game Final Fantasy 16, available for $509 at Walmart and $509.99 at Best Buy.

The price of the Horizon Forbidden West bundle has also been reduced by $50 to $499.99 at retailers, including Best Buy, although it is currently sold out.

All of the above-mentioned offers may also be available at GameStop, which is currently "offering $50 off select PS5s when you shop in-store - now through September 29."

PS5 discounts in the United States have been less aggressive compared to Europe, where Sony has recently run two price promotions in as many months, including a £75/ €100 price cut on the standard model.

Last week, Sony increased the prices of PlayStation Plus subscriptions by up to 35%.

This led to an increase in the cost of 12-month subscription plans for the service's Essential, Extra, and Premium tiers by $20-$40/ £10-£20/ €12-€32, depending on the chosen membership plan.
