Here's Rainbow Six Siege X System Requirements
Launch time zones and PC/console specs for Rainbow Six Siege X revealed
Ubisoft has officially laid out the full rollout for Rainbow Six Siege X, dropping on June 10, 2025. This isn’t just a seasonal refresh — it’s the biggest systems overhaul the game has seen since 2015, including UI changes, tech updates, and the new Dual Front mode. The patch also sets the foundation for Operation Daybreak, the game’s Season 2 launch.
The global maintenance kicks off at the same time everywhere, so expect a coordinated rollout with a 90-minute downtime window before Siege X goes live.

Ubisoft wrote in the blog post:
Players who have bought and played the game before the launch of R6 Siege X on June 10 will keep their current progression, inventory and operators. You will also receive Veteran Rewards to thank you for your involvement with the game. The longer you’ve been playing, the more rewards you’ll get!
Patch sizes vary depending on platform, and if you’re planning to install Ultra HD textures, you’ll need to make room for some heavy downloads. Ubisoft Connect users need up to 91.53 GB, while Xbox Series X|S users need around 57.6 GB.

Console players will see a performance/quality toggle:
- PS5 and PS5 Pro support 4K 120 FPS for Core Siege, while Dual Front caps at 60 FPS.
- Xbox Series X pushes the same resolution and framerate split.
- Xbox Series S drops resolution to 1080p in performance mode.
Older consoles like Xbox One and PS4 are still supported, but the Dual Front mode will be limited to current-gen platforms only. Xbox One and PS4 users can still access the main Siege content, but not this new competitive game mode.
Rainbow Six Siege X System Requirements (PC):
Setting | Resolution | FPS | CPU | GPU | RAM | Storage |
Minimum | 1080p | 60 FPS | AMD Ryzen 3 3100/ Intel i3-8100 | GTX 1650/ RX 5500XT/ Arc A380 | 8 GB | 65 GB SSD |
High | 1080p–4K | 120 (Siege)/ 60 (Dual Front) | Ryzen 5 3600/ i5 10400 or better | RTX 2060/ RX 6600 to RTX 3080/ RX 6800 XT | 16 GB | 65 GB SSD |
Ultra | 4K | 120 FPS | Ryzen 5 5600X/ Intel i5-11600K | RTX 4070 Ti Super/ RX 7900 XT | 16 GB | 110 GB SSD |
Half of the Rainbow Six Siege X upgrade is under the hood. This patch will significantly upgrade the game engine across all supported platforms, giving smoother UI, better match stability, and cross-progression features. Ubisoft is pitching it as a reset point — a clean slate for both casual players and pro teams to transition into what they’re calling “Year 10’s new competitive ecosystem.”
On PC, the difference will be most noticeable if you’ve got the hardware to push it. Siege has always been about fast-paced tactical combat at high frame rates, and with the Ultra settings now asking for an RTX 4070 Ti Super or RX 7900 XT, it's clear Siege X is aiming squarely at high-end rigs.
If you’ve played the game before the update drops, your progress carries over. Veteran players will get a cosmetic badge and other in-game rewards depending on how long their accounts have been active. There’s no grind or purchase required — launch the game on June 10 and it’s all added automatically.
This is the most sweeping update Rainbow Six has delivered in nearly a decade. It resets the technical foundation while keeping your old squad, skins, and stats intact. Whether you're returning for nostalgia or sticking around for competitive reasons, Siege X isn’t just another update — it’s a relaunch.
