The situation has drawn comparisons to a previous incident in which players managed to display a chicken image during live matches. This time, however, the exploit appears to be even more disruptive.

Images Blocking Players’ Screens

Several players and content creators have demonstrated how certain users can trigger an image that takes over a significant portion of an opponent’s field of view. When activated, the image appears in the middle of the screen, severely impacting visibility and gameplay.

The exploit has frequently involved a meme image resembling internet personality IShowSpeed edited to look like Charlie Kirk. Prominent content creator BikiniBodhi shared footage of the exploit being used against him, while Spanish creator VETEL also reported experiencing the same issue. In both cases, the same image was displayed.

An Exploit, Not a Cheat

According to BikiniBodhi, the issue is not a traditional cheat but rather an exploit. Players have reportedly discovered a method to link their in-game name to a custom image, causing it to appear during matches. Details on how the exploit works have not been publicly disclosed for obvious reasons.

Limited to the Test Server

Fortunately, the problem currently affects only the Operation Silent Hunt Test Server and has not been observed in the live version of Rainbow Six Siege.

With Operation Silent Hunt scheduled for full release on March 3, 2026, it is expected that Ubisoft will address and patch the exploit before the update goes live.
