The former player of G2 Esports and Team Vitality has finished his career
Famous Spanish esportsman Goga has announced his retirement from Rainbow Six. The 28-year-old Spaniard spoke about this on his social networks, without attaching the details of his decision. Note that at one time Goga was considered one of the best operatives, and also won the Six Invitational in 2018 and 2019.
Goodbye Rainbow Six. It was a long and fun journey, but it ended right here! It was so nice to meet a lot of people. Thank you for your support throughout all these years.
Goga is a fairly well-known player who started his esports career back in 2016. For six years, the Spaniard has tried his hand at teams such as PENTA Sports, G2 Esports, Team Vitality and Movistar Riders.
In total, Goga earned just over $320,000 in prize money, and also became the winner of the following championships - Pro League Year 2 Season 1 - Finals, Pro League Year 2 Season 2 - Finals, Six Invitational 2018, Six Major Paris 2018, Pro League Season 8 - Finals, DreamHack Winter 2018 and Six Invitational 2019.
The Spaniard spent the last season with Rebels Gaming, with whom he even managed to win Spain Nationals Season 4. However, after the failure in the open qualifiers for the Six Invitational 2023 for Europe and an early exit from the European Challenger League 2022, the esportsman decided to end his career and retire.
However, Goga did not include details or reveal its plans for the future.
