Blurr has officially joined G2 Esports
The European esports organization G2 Esports has completed the composition of the Rainbow Six discipline ahead of the imminent start of the European League 2022 - Stage 3. As a result of the latest changes, Blurr has joined the team, while Fabian, a former G2 Esports analyst and player, has become the new coach.
Blurr has spent the last two years with Natus Vincere. Together with the team, the 21-year-old British player became the winner of the UK & Ireland Nationals - Season 2, European League 2021 - Stage 1 and UK & Ireland Nationals - Summer 2021, and also got into the TOP-3 in the UK & Ireland Nationals - Summer 2020, European League 2021 - Stage 2 and European League 2021 - Finals.
I'm excited for the new challenge and journey with a well-built roster, I believe this team will help me improve and be a more consistent player to aim for important wins in the future, commented on his signing Blurr
In turn, Fabian had a rich career as a professional esportsman. For six years of performances, the 28-year-old Swede has changed several clubs, but all the main successes came during the period of performances for the G2 Esports team. Together with her, Fabian won the Six Major Paris 2018 and Six Invitational 2019, and also took second place at the Six Major Raleigh 2019.
However, for the past six months, the Swede has tried himself as an analyst, having worked at such championships as APAC North 2022 - Stage 1 and European League 2022 - Stage 1.
The debut of G2 Esports will take place today, September 12, when the team will start its journey within the European League 2022 - Stage 3. Here the team will compete for one of the four available tickets to the November Major.
