Shas(O)Udas steps down as G2 Esports coach
The European esports organization G2 Esports has announced the departure of Shas(O)Udas from the post of head coach of the Rainbow Six roster. Note that the 30-year-old British specialist has led the team since the creation of the squad in August 2018.
Shas(O)Udas led the newly formed G2 Esports team after the organization signed the PENTA Sports roster. The next four seasons were truly outstanding in the career of the 30-year-old British specialist.
Under his leadership, the European team has won numerous championships, including:
- Six Major Paris 2018
- DreamHack Winter 2018
- Pro League Season 8 - Finals
- Six Invitational 2019
- European League 2020 - Finals
In addition, together with G2 Esports, the Briton made it to the top three winners in the Six August 2020 Major - Europe, Six Major Raleigh 2019, Pro League Season 11 - Europe and Pro League Season 10 - Europe, among others.
However, during the summer split, Shas(O)Udas announced his imminent departure from the team. Even then, the 30-year-old British specialist said that his contract with the club would not be renewed and he would go on a free voyage.
Note that this is not the first change in the composition of G2 Esports, since immediately after the end of the Berlin Major, Prano left the team. As previously reported, the G2 Esports organization is considering signing Blurr to its roster, thereby hoping to close the gap.
The next championship for the G2 Esports team will be the European League 2022 - Stage 3, which will start on September 19th. By this time, the European club must decide on its future.
