Blurr may join G2 Esports
According to the BLIX.GG portal, the European esports organization G2 Esports is considering signing Blurr to its Rainbow Six roster. The 21-year-old British player is a prime candidate to replace Prano, who announced his departure from the team last week.
Blurr is an active player of Natus Vincere, where he joined back in August 2020. In two years, the 21-year-old British player helped the team win the UK & Ireland Nationals - Season 2, European League 2021 - Stage 1 and UK & Ireland Nationals - Summer 2021, as well as get into the TOP-3 according to the results of the UK & Ireland Nationals - Summer 2020, European League 2021 - Stage 2 and European League 2021 - Finals.
Recall that Prano played for the team for six months. During this time, the 24-year-old German player helped the team take fourth place in the European League 2022 - Stage 1 and European League 2022 - Stage 2, as well as reach the quarterfinals of the Six Charlotte Major 2022 and Six Berlin Major 2022.
G2 Esports is considering several options to strengthen its roster. In particular, information appeared that the club is interested in the services of Lagonis, who is also close to moving to Team Liquid. The team also managed to test the French player LikEfac, who is currently listed in 321 Sked Esport.
Despite the upcoming changes, it is expected that CTZN will remain the captain of the squad.
The next championship for G2 Esports will be the European League 2022 - Stage 3, which will start on September 19th. By this time, the European club must decide on its future. At the same time, it is known that the coach Shas[O]Udas will not renew his contract with the organization, which means that G2 Esports has a lot of work to do in the off-season.
The current G2 Esports Rainbow Six roster is as follows:
- CTZN
- Virtue
- Alem4o
- doki
- Shas[O]Udas (coach)
