Rumors: Iconic and Spoit will become M80 Esports players
According to several insiders, the Canadian esports organization M80 Esports is planning to make changes to its Rainbow Six roster. In particular, the club intends to abandon the services of Yoggah and SpiriTz in order to sign contracts with Iconic and Spoit. Thus, these will be the first roster changes since the transition of the XSET roster under the wing of M80 Esports.
Yoggah and SpiriTz have been part of the XSET/ M80 Esports roster since March last year. Last season, they managed to reach the semi-finals of the Six Berlin Major 2022, take fourth place in the North American League 2022 - Stage 1 and North American League 2022 - Stage 2, and also take 7-8th place in the Six Invitational 2023.
The club's first recruit is expected to be Iconic. The 20-year-old American spent a year and a half with Astralis, where he won the North American League 2022 - Stage 1 and North American League 2022 - Stage 2, and also reached the final of the Six Charlotte Major 2022.
Together with him, Spoit will join the M80 Esports team. The 18-year-old Swede is an active player in KOI, although he represented the colors of the Rogue organization until December. Here, the esportsman managed to win the Six Berlin Major 2022, as well as reach the final of the European League 2022 - Stage 2.
Changes are expected to be announced soon. Moreover, Iconic should join the team in the status of a free agent, since the Astralis organization has recently left the discipline.
