CTZN leaves G2 Esports
The European esports organization G2 Esports has announced changes to its Rainbow Six roster, saying goodbye to CTZN. Recall that the 23-year-old British player has represented the “samurai” for the past three seasons.
After two years with the team, I am leaving G2 Esports with a heavy heart, because with her I have experienced all the ups and downs, good times and bad, and gave it my all. Thanks to G2 Esports, players and staff for believing in me. But now it's time to move on to a new chapter in my career
CTZN joined G2 Esports in March 2020 after moving from Natus Vincere. For three seasons, the 23-year-old British player helped the team win the GSA League 2020: Finals, European League 2020 - Finals and GSA League 2021, as well as get into the top three at Pro League Season 11 - Europe, European League 2020 - Stage 1, Six August 2020 Major - Europe and European League 2021 - Stage 2.
If initial rumors were to be believed, CTZN was about to move to Soniqs. However, the North American club approved the changes in the composition, thus closing the story with a possible transfer of the British.
In turn, G2 Esports is interested in the services of Benjamaster, who is put up for transfer by the Heroic club. The 19-year-old Dane spent nine months with the team, having managed to win the European League 2022 - Stage 1.
The upcoming changes should take place in the very near future, as the European team will soon begin preparations for the Six Invitational 2023. Recall that, according to the results of the past season, G2 Esports took tenth place in the leaderboard with 920 points.
