M80 signs XSET Rainbow Six roster
Canadian esports organization M80 has announced the signing of XSET 's former Rainbow Six roster. The team will continue to perform on stage under the new tag, waiting for their debut at the Six Invitational 2023. It is reported that the new M80 roster will hold a bootcamp in Sao Paulo before the start of the championship.
The former XSET roster was formed in March 2022. During the season, the Brazilian-American team managed to get into the top three at the end of the Six Berlin Major 2022, and also take fourth place in the North American League 2022 - Stage 1 and North American League 2022 - Stage 2. Despite the failure in the North American League 2022 - Stage 3, the team took the season to its credit, given the instability of other teams in the North American region.
According to the results of the season, the team managed to get a direct ticket to the Six Invitational 2023, finishing seventh on the leaderboard. The team will now prepare for their next challenge under the wing of a new organization founded by a former member of the XSET leadership team.
Notably, M80 has already applied for the North American League, but this application is currently being reviewed by Ubisoft. This is necessary for the reasons that the organizers introduced a semi-closed league format.
A little earlier, Canadian esports organization M80 also unveiled its first VALORANT roster.
