Shas[O]Udas to step down as G2 Esports head coach
Shas[O]Udas will step down as the head coach of G2 Esports in mid-August. The 30-year-old British specialist announced this on his Twitter, adding that his contract with the European club would not be renewed.
It was an amazing experience and it was my honor to represent G2 Esports, but all good things must come to an end. August 13 will be my last day after 4 years with G2 Esports as my contract will not be renewed.
I will continue to work with the guys for the next month; we are still capable of qualifying for the Six Berlin Major 2022 and I am fully confident that we will get victories in the next matches at the European League 2022 - Stage 2.
I have permission to look for opportunities and futures with other teams. At one time, I tried on many roles: manager, trainer, analyst, and so on, and therefore I am open to many proposals.
I'll post an extended farewell letter towards that time, but for now I'll focus on the near future and support the team as much as I can.
Shas[O]Udas has led G2 Esports since August 2018. Over four seasons, the 30-year-old British specialist helped the team win many championships, including the Six Major Paris 2018, Pro League Season 8 - Finals, Six Invitational 2019 and European League 2020 - Finals, as well as take part in the Six Major Raleigh 2019 (2 place), Six Invitational 2020 (7th-8th place), Six Invitational 2021 (13th-16th place), Six Mexico Major 2021 (13th-15th place) and Six Charlotte Major 2022 (5th-8th place).
Currently, the European team continues its performances within the European League 2022 - Stage 2. Based on the results of four rounds, G2 Esports has one win and three losses in regular time.
The G2 Esports Rainbow Six roster is as follows:
- CTZN
- Virtue
