Silence steps down as Team Liquid head coach and retires
The European esports organization Team Liquid has announced changes to its Rainbow Six roster, parting ways with Silence. Recall that the 29-year-old Brazilian specialist led the team for the past four years. It is reported that Silence intends to leave the professional scene and retire.
Silence took over Team Liquid in April 2018. For four seasons, the 29-year-old Brazilian specialist helped the team win Pro League Season 7 - Finals, Pro League Season 11 - Latin America, Six November 2020 Major - Brazil, Copa Elite Six - Season 2021: Stage 1 and Brasileirão 2021 - Finals, and also get into the top three at DreamHack Montreal 2019, Six August 2020 Major - Brazil, Six Invitational 2021 and Six Mexico Major 2021.
The last tournament for Silence as the head coach of Team Liquid was the Six Invitational 2022, following which the team took 5th-6th place and earned $135,000.
Note that earlier it was reported about the interest of the organization in the services of hugzord, which previously played for Team Singularity. At the same time, the team has less than two weeks left before the start of Brasileirão 2022 - Stage 1, which will be held online from March 26 to April 17.
