Elevate, FURIA Esports, Team Liquid and Spacestation Gaming got their first wins at the Six Invitational 2022

The first round of the Six Invitational 2022 in groups B and C has come to an end, as a result of which the teams Elevate, FURIA Esports, Team Liquid and Spacestation Gaming won their first championship victories. At the same time, there was a leader in group B, who, after the starting day of the championship, managed to break away from his pursuers.

In the face-to-face meeting between FaZe Clan and Spacestation Gaming, everything went in favor of the Brazilian team, which took the lead following the results of the Kafe Dostoyevsky map. However, on the next two maps, the North Americans managed to prove themselves, having obtained a strong-willed victory over the opponent, thereby gaining two points.

At the same time, Team Liquid defeated Rogue with a score of 2:0 without any hassle, thus earning three points. It should be noted that thanks to a dry victory, the Brazilian team broke into the leaders of the tournament table, breaking away from their pursuers represented by Spacestation Gaming.

In the next quintet there were no intrigues. In the first meeting, Elevate extremely confidently dealt with opponents from DarkZero Esports, ruffling their fans' nerves only on the second map of Chalet. Nevertheless, the team from Thailand managed to hold out and earn three points at the end of the opening game day of the championship.

In a parallel meeting, FURIA Esports managed to deal with Team BDS. At the same time, the only difficulties for the Brazilians arose on the first map, while on Bank the team ran over their opponents without a chance, getting three points.

The Six Invitational 2022 takes place from 8 to 20 February at the Stockholmsmässan Exhibition Center in Stockholm. Twenty teams compete for a prize pool of $3,000,000, the distribution rules for which will be announced later.
