The information appeared that Blizzard Entertainment decided to open a preparatory league for Overwatch Contenders in 2018. The players that have high rates will be invited to Overwatch Open Division where the main prize will be 4 slots in the Overwatch Contendors.

The developers are planning to hold three seasons for Overwatch Contenders annually in 7 regions: Europe, North and South America, China, South Korea, Oceania and Australia.

Sign UpThe winners of Open Division will go to the Contenders Trials tournament where they will meet the teams that took the last places in the Overwatch Contenders. The main competition will be held before each season begins.
