Overwatch 2 Unveils Heroes Receiving Skins in New LE SSERAFIM Collaboration

Overwatch 2 has officially revealed which heroes will be getting LE SSERAFIM crossover skins when the collaboration returns later this month. This marks the second time the K-pop group has teamed up with Blizzard’s hero shooter, following their 2023 collab that introduced skins for D.Va, Sombra, Tracer, Brigitte, Kiriko, and even Junkrat, whose exclusive skin was available as a free event reward.

Overwatch 2 Expands Its Collab Roster in 2025

Since the launch of Overwatch 2, Blizzard has ramped up its crossover events, making 2024 the game’s biggest year for collaborations. The game kicked off the year with a Cowboy Bebop anime crossover, followed by a Transformers event in the summer that introduced skins for Reinhardt (Optimus Prime), Bastion (Bumblebee), and Ramattra (Megatron). Later in the year, Blizzard celebrated Warcraft’s 30th anniversary with themed skins in September, before wrapping up 2024 with a My Hero Academia crossover in October and an Avatar: The Last Airbender event in December.

Now, Blizzard is kicking off 2025’s lineup by bringing back the LE SSERAFIM crossover. In an interview with ComicBook, Overwatch 2’s Aimee Dennett confirmed that the second LE SSERAFIM event will begin on March 18, introducing ten new skins. Five of these are recolors of the original LE SSERAFIM skins, while the other five are entirely new, featuring designs for Ashe, Illari, Mercy, and the game’s newest support hero, Juno. Additionally, D.Va will receive an all-new LE SSERAFIM skin.

New LE SSERAFIM Skins Confirmed for Overwatch 2

When asked why D.Va is getting a second LE SSERAFIM skin, Dennett explained that as the only Korean hero in Overwatch 2, it was fitting for her to take center stage in this partnership. While the Fawksey James skin for Junkrat won’t be getting a new variant, Blizzard has confirmed that his original LE SSERAFIM skin will return for players who missed it the first time. However, the Concert Clash game mode from the previous event—where players competed to collect VIP concert tickets—will not be making a comeback.

Since this marks the first time Overwatch 2 is revisiting a past collab, players are now speculating whether other previous crossovers will return. While Dennett acknowledged that it’s "hard not to do another round," she also emphasized that no promises can be made at this time.

For now, fans can look forward to the LE SSERAFIM event returning on March 18—and the chance to unlock brand-new skins for some of the game’s most popular heroes.
