Overwatch 2 Season 11: New Runapasi Push Map and Mythic Weapon Skins Unveiled

Blizzard has finally unveiled Overwatch 2 Season 11, announcing the new Runapasi Push map and the introduction of Mythic Weapon Skins. Overwatch 2 was notably absent from the recent Xbox Games Showcase, disappointing many longtime fans who were hoping for a sneak peek at the upcoming season. Shortly after the showcase, Blizzard reassured fans by confirming when they could expect a detailed overview of everything Season 11 has to offer.

Blizzard released a teaser for Overwatch 2 Season 11, confirming the Battle Pass theme and promising more information on June 17. Now that June 17 has arrived, Blizzard has revealed everything fans can expect from Overwatch 2 Season 11, including the debut of a new map and much more.

As confirmed by Blizzard, Overwatch 2 Season 11 will launch on June 20, featuring the Runapasi Push Map set in the Peruvian Andes. The new Push map will be available in both Quick Play and Competitive modes at launch. Additionally, players can look forward to new Hero Mastery content for Kiriko and Soldier: 76, with opportunities to earn "new rewards" and 22,500 Battle Pass XP from June 20 to July 9. Fans can also enjoy the Super Mega Ultrawatch Battle Pass, which includes skins inspired by shows like Super Sentai and Power Rangers, with Ashe receiving the new Mythic Calamity Empress Ashe skin.

Overwatch 2 players will also be able to unlock Mythic Weapon Skins in Season 11, with this feature being introduced in the game's mid-season update. Mythic Weapon Skins will include "exclusive sound and visual effects" and will cost 50 Mythic Prisms. Additional levels for Mythic Weapon Skins can be unlocked for 10 Mythic Prisms each. The first Mythic Weapon Skin revealed by Blizzard is the Mythic Bound Demon Reinhardt Weapon Skin, which will be added to the game on July 23. It adds a "fiery surge" to Reinhardt's Earthshatter Ultimate.

While fans wait for the addition of Mythic Weapon Skins to Overwatch 2, they can focus on leveling up the Season 11 Battle Pass and unlocking five new Legendary Skins, the Lifeguard Lucio Epic Skin, 500 Credits, up to 80 Mythic Prisms, and various other rewards. Those who decide to purchase the Ultimate Battle Pass bundle will get 20 Tier Skips, 2,000 Overwatch Coins, and the Kaiju Roadhog and Kaiju Zenyatta Legendary Skins.
