Overwatch 2 Announcement Scheduled for June 16th

Blizzard will be hosting an Overwatch 2 showcase on their YouTube and Twitch channels. Previously, the developers have already shown the new hero Sojourn, the “Onslaught” mode, changes in the balance of characters, new maps and other innovations. The creators say they are closely analyzing and listening to player feedback received during beta testing.

In turn, an insider under the nickname The Snitch hints that Blizzard can make Overwatch or Overwatch 2 free. In his Twitter, he left a reference to the first trailer of the original, and at the end hinted at a possible transition of the game to the “free to play” system.

The broadcast of the announcement is scheduled for June 16, 19:00 CET.
