Last night in the royal battle of Warzone, the official show of the new part of Call of Duty took place. Subtitled Vanguard, the game is out November 5th for PC and consoles.

While there is not much information about Vanguard, something is still known. The new project Sledgehammer Games will affect the period of World War II, and we will be offered to take on the role of one of 4 soldiers of an elite unit created to fight the Nazis:

  • Sergeant Arthur Kingsley;
  • Lieutenant Polina Petrova;
  • Captain Wade Jackson;
  • Lieutenant Lucas Riggs.

Each character will have their own story and background. In addition, they all perform on different fronts, where the players will visit: the Eastern Front, the Western Front, North Africa and other theaters of the Second World War.

The game will have several modes. A familiar campaign, multiplayer with 20 maps at the start, a zombie mode, and a new Champion Hill.

The Vanguard will return to the Gunsmith system, allowing you to adjust the ballistics of weapons for yourself. In addition, Sledgehammer Games promises interactive environments and destructible objects, which is not very typical for games in the CoD series.

The novelty will also include a zombie mode. They plan to integrate it with the story of the Cold War.

New items are also being prepared for Warzone, into which Vanguard is being integrated on the day of release. It is still being handled by Raven, who are developing a completely new map for the battle royale in the style of World War II.
