G2 Esports will change roles

ESPN's eSports portal reports that Perkz, a middle-ranking and Caps playing an ADC role, will be swapping with each other during LEC Spring 2020. G2 CEO Carlos 'ocelote' Rodriguez confirmed the information.

These players hinted that they wanted to change their roles, but each time it was taken as a joke. Now it became known that Perkz and Caps really ventured into such an experiment.

G2 Director said that he considers only two outcomes of this experiment: successful and unsuccessful. In the first case, the team will receive a tactical advantage over their opponents, as they will be able to act more unpredictably. If the experiment cannot be called successful, then during the summer season, G2 will be able to revert to the style that is more familiar to them.

On January 24, a match will take place in which the first players will play in a new way. As part of LEC 2020, G2 Esports will fight with MAD Lions.

Despite the fact that Perkz spent most of his career in the middle position, the eSportsman has experience playing the role of Kerry.

Last year, G2 Esports spent quite successfully. The team won both in the spring and summer split. The second most important and largest tournament in League of Legends, 2019 Mid-Season Invitational was also won by Europeans. For complete happiness, G2 did not have enough victory at the 2019 World Championship. There, the team was defeated in the final with a score of 0-3, losing to the Chinese from FunPlus Phoenix.
