2021 World Championship will be held in Iceland
Riot Games has officially announced the venue for the League of Legends World Championship - the 2021 World Championship will be held in Reykjavik, Iceland. The championship itself will take place from October 5 to November 6 at the Laugardalshöll stadium.
All matches, without exception, will be played in the arena. However, in order to ensure the safety of e-sportsmen, no spectators are expected in the stands.
Schedule 2021 World Championship:
- Play-In Stage: October 5-9.
- Group stage: October 11-13 and 15-18.
- Quarter-finals: October 22-25.
- Semi-finals: October 30-31.
- Grand Final: November 6.
List of group stage participants: DWG KIA, Gen.G, T1, MAD Lions, Fnatic, Rogue, EDward Gaming, FunPlus Phoenix, Royal Never Give Up, 100 Thieves, TeamLiquid and PSG.Talon.
List of Play-In stage participants: Beyond Gaming, LNG Esports, Hanwha Life Esports, Cloud9, Infinity, Galatasaray Esports, Unicorns Of Love, DetonatioN FocusMe, RED Canids and PEACE.
