Young 'Daeny' Dae-in has become a strategic analyst at DWG KIA. He moved there from T1. The leadership of the esports organization made an announcement of this event in social networks.

Daeny's ability helped DWG KIA win the 2020 World Championship. Then the Koreans won the final against Suning 3-1. The main award was $ 550,000. After that, the head coach of DWG KIA and Lee 'Zefa' Jae Min became more in demand and T1 bought Yang 'Daeny' Dae-in and his assistant from DWG KIA, in connection with which the latter had to early terminate the contract with his coaches.

T1 has partnered with Daeny and Zefa until July this year. The T1 management announced that it decided to end the partnership with the Koreans and the latter went to DWG KIA. The coach and his assistant did not make it to the end of the current split with the T1 players eight matches before the end of LCK Summer 2021. There is currently no information available as to why Daeny and Zefa left the ranks of T1 and returned to DWG KIA. Representatives of the Korean eSports club refrained from specifics and did not give any relevant comments, and Yang Dae-in and Lee Jae Min, in turn, said that for them such a decision was very unexpected and even disappointing. Perhaps we can find out more about what happened a little later.

T1 is not left without mentors. From now on, coaches of the academic staff will most likely work with the players on a temporary basis.

At the moment, DWG KIA is in fourth position in the LCK Summer 2021 standings. The team took part in the matches 14 times and 8 of them ended in victory for the Korean team. The gap between won and lost DWG KIA cards is +7. T1, in turn, is followed by DWG KIA. They have similar statistics for matches won and lost, but their difference in matches won and lost is +4. For this reason, although T1s have the same winrate as DWG KIA, they still lag behind their competitors in the group stage table.
