Kim 'Trick' Gang-yun, who has spent the last year at SK Gaming, has revealed his retirement from the esports discipline on his Twitter account. He did not name the reasons why he decided to end his career.

Kim Gang-yun's professional playing activity began at the end of 2014 under the banner of CJ Entus. The most striking period of the Korean's career was the period from April to September 2017, spent under the banner of G2 Esports. Together with the Europeans, he managed to achieve the highest results on his way. G2 and Trick were able to take second place at the Mid-Season Invitational 2017 and receive a $ 338,000 reward there. In addition, the squad won two European splits: EU LCS Spring 2017 and EU LCS Summer 2017.
