K/DA Reportedly Returning With New Music and Skins

A new leak suggests that K/DA, Riot Games' iconic virtual K-pop group from the League of Legends universe, could finally make its long-awaited comeback later this year.

According to well-known leaker LeagueofLeaks on X, Riot is reportedly planning to bring K/DA back during League of Legends Season 3 in 2026, with both new music and a fresh collection of themed in-game skins expected to accompany the return.

K/DA Could Return After Nearly Six Years

If the report proves accurate, it would mark K/DA's first major release since MORE, which debuted in October 2020.

The virtual group features four of League of Legends' most recognizable champions—Ahri, Akali, Kai'Sa, and Evelynn—and quickly became a global phenomenon following the release of hits such as POP/STARS, THE BADDEST, and MORE.

Popularity Remains Strong Despite the Hiatus

Although K/DA has been inactive for nearly six years, the group continues to attract a massive audience.

The project currently boasts more than 2 million monthly listeners on Spotify, while its six released tracks have accumulated over 1.4 billion streams on the platform. More recently, K/DA's music was added to Rift of the NecroDancer as part of a crossover collaboration, further demonstrating the group's lasting popularity.

Original Vocalists Yet to Be Confirmed

Riot Games has not confirmed whether the original vocal cast will return if the comeback moves forward.

The previous K/DA releases featured Miyeon and Soyeon from (G)I-DLE, alongside American artists Madison Beer and Jaira Burns, all of whom helped shape the group's signature sound.

Should the comeback become official, it could also lead to another high-profile live performance during the League of Legends World Championship, reminiscent of the memorable Worlds 2018 opening ceremony in Incheon, where K/DA made its debut through groundbreaking augmented reality technology.
