🌍 World Championship Celebration

To mark the 2025 Worlds event, Riot has introduced new cosmetics and in-game features:

  • Deceptive Flora skin series for Fiddlesticks, Nami, and Lissandra
  • Xin Zhao “Twilight Trials” World Championship skin, with a portion of proceeds supporting LoL Esports global leagues and teams fund
  • 🏆 World-themed map decorations, including a new Summoner’s Cup visible on the top lane
  • 60 new team emotes (350 RP) and icons (250 RP) featuring the 2025 organization abbreviations, available until Patch 25.23

Additionally, the fan-favorite Doom Bots mode is back — featuring all three difficulty tiers — but this will be the final chance to play it.

📺 Broadcast Mode Enhancements

To improve player safety and privacy, Riot Games has expanded its Broadcast Mode with three new anonymity levels designed to reduce targeted griefing and stream sniping:

  1. Partial anonymity: hides other players’ names on your screen only.
  2. Competitive anonymity: conceals your RiotID and in-game name from opponents while preserving your progress display.
  3. Full anonymity: hides all identifiers, including RiotID, name, profile data, and achievements.

This system is live now and expected to significantly enhance match integrity for content creators and professional players.

🚫 Champion Ban Restriction Test

Riot is testing a new anti-griefing feature on the North American and Oceania servers that prevents players from banning champions already selected by allies. If successful, this update will expand globally to improve draft fairness and reduce in-game disputes.
