Ukrainian esports powerhouse NAVI is set to enter the LEC (League of Legends EMEA Championship) after reportedly finalizing the acquisition of Rogue’s league slot, according to a report by Sheep Esports, which cites internal sources.

The official announcement of the deal is expected to follow the conclusion of the Spring Split, whose final match is scheduled for June 8. If all goes according to plan, NAVI will make its LEC debut in the upcoming Summer Split, anticipated to begin in July—though an exact start date has yet to be confirmed.

What Happens to Rogue’s Players?

As of now, there’s no official word on the future of Rogue’s roster or coaching staff. Sheep Esports notes that their fate remains uncertain, with no confirmed details about whether NAVI plans to retain any of the existing team members.

A Slot Long on the Market

Rogue has reportedly been seeking to sell its LEC slot since November 2023. An initial attempt by Team Falcons to acquire the position was blocked by Riot Games.
