One of the most influential European esports organizations, Karmine Corp, has officially acquired the team slot of Astralis in the franchised European League of Legends (LEC). The LEC newcomers are gearing up for their debut, set to take place in the upcoming winter split. This deal proved beneficial for all parties involved: Astralis freed up a slot that no longer interested them and ventured into new opportunities, while Karmine Corp, in turn, gained a chance to participate in the most prestigious tournaments. Riot Games, the organizers of the LEC, also added one of the most media-popular teams to their roster.
