Haeri and Yeon joined the updated roster of Team Liquid
European esports organization Team Liquid has announced the first additions to its League of Legends roster by signing contracts with Haeri and Yeon. Both esportsmen spent two seasons at the club's academy, becoming the first cogs in a new roster built according to the updated management policy.
We are rethinking our approach to roster formation and we must say that we are very excited about what lies ahead. In the past, we have put a lot of emphasis on fielding veteran players[or]the best players in the market during the off-season. We didn't think too much about player synergy, structure, coaching staff and how we wanted to pitch the whole program. In 2023, we wanted to focus on developing our own talent and young, promising newcomers to develop alongside some of the veterans.
Haeri and Yeon have spent the last two years with Liquid Academy. Together they managed to win Arena of Legends 2021, LCS Academy League Summer 2021, LCS Lock-In 2022, LCS Proving Grounds Spring 2022 and LCS Proving Grounds Summer 2022, as well as take second place in LCS Proving Grounds Summer 2021.
The organization also promised to unveil the final roster for next season on Friday, December 2. Rumor has it that Summit will be the band's new jungler, while the future of top liner Bwipo remains a big question mark.
The updated Team Liquid roster for the League of Legends discipline:
- bwipo
- Haeri
