Youngjae and Taeyoon join Freecs lineup
South Korean esports organization Freecs has announced additions to its League of Legends roster by signing Youngjae and Taeyoon. It is noteworthy that players join the club immediately after parting with the previous roster.
We have signed a multi-year agreement with our new boat liner TaeYoon until 2024. We look forward to his great performance and ask for the support of our fans. In addition, we have also signed a multi-year contract with our new jungler YoungJae until 2024.
Youngjae has spent the last two seasons in the Gen.G Esports structure, where he alternated playing for the main and youth squads. Here, the South Korean esportsman became the winner of the LCK Challengers League 2021 Summer, and also made it to the top three at the LCK Challengers League 2021 Spring, LCK Summer 2021 and LCK Spring 2022.
In turn, Taeyoon was previously in the DRX structure, where he also jumped from roster to roster. During his performances for the club, the botliner managed to win the LCK Academy Series Championship 2020.
As a reminder, the Freecs organization recently parted ways with its latest roster, saying goodbye to Ellim, FATE, Hoit, Kiin and Teddy. The reason for these changes was the weak results of the team last season, when the best achievement was getting into the TOP-4 at LCK Spring 2022. However, the club kept Moham in the cage, and also left most of the coaching staff.
Updated Freecs roster for the League of Legends discipline:
- youngjae
- Taeyoon
- Moham
- cvMax (head coach)
- LirA and Alvingo (coaching staff)
