Kaas steps down as coach at MAD Lions
The Spanish esports organization MAD Lions has announced changes to the coaching bridge of its League of Legends roster, saying goodbye to Kaas. Recall that the Belgian specialist worked as an assistant coach for three seasons.
Today we say goodbye to Kaas. Christoph joined us back in 2019 and over the past three years he has grown into a core part of our award-winning coaching staff. Thank you for your dedication, humor and kindness! We look forward to following your future career!
Kaas joined the MAD Lions coaching staff at the end of 2019. For three seasons, the Belgian specialist helped the team win at LEC Spring 2021 and LEC Summer 2021, get into the top three at LEC Spring 2020 and Mid-Season Invitational 2021, and also take part in the 2020 World Championship (19-20th place), 2021 World Championship (5th-8th place) and 2022 World Championship (17th-18th place).
Thanks to everyone at MAD Lions for three wonderful years of happiness. I will miss you guys. Mac, you taught me the basics of the game. You shared your secrets with me and gave me guidance. I can never repay this depth. In addition to the fact that you are a wonderful boss, I consider you one of my closest friends, Kaas wrote.
Note that this is not the first change in the composition of MAD Lions after the end of the season. In early November, the Spanish club also said goodbye to UNF0RGIVEN, who had been playing for the team for the past year.
