Chovy extends his contract with Gen.G Esports until 2023

KORIZON's Twitter account revealed that Ji-hoon 'Chovy' Kyung has extended his contract with Gen.G Esports until 2023. He signed with the esports organization on November 24 last year. A couple of months ago, the team completed participation in LCK Spring 2022. Together with Chovy, his teammates managed to get to the grand final and take 2nd place in the standings. For their efforts, the team received $81,830. The final match was lost against T1 with a score of 1-3.

Ji-hoon 'Chovy' Kyung began his career as a professional League of Legends player in 2017 under the tag Gwangju City. Later, he played under the tag of such teams as Griffin, DRX and Hawnha Life Esports. He has victories at KeSPA Cup 2018 and Rift Rivals 2019: LCK vs LPL vs LMS vs VCS, as well as 2 places at LCK Summer 2018, LCK Spring 2019, LCK Summer 2019 and LCK Summer 2020. Griffin teams.
